Idaho Industry Liaison Group
For those HRATV members whose companies are federal contractors and have affirmative action plans, or are planning to develop affirmative action plans, you may be interested in the Idaho Industry Liaison Group (IILG).
The IILG was created in 2000, as a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and fostering a spirit of cooperation between Idaho federal contractors and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
IILG
is comprised of federal contractors and other interested organizations that meet to improve and expand communications between the OFCCP and the business community. IILG provides information, resources, technical assistance and networking opportunities to its members at meetings held throughout the year. Guest speakers provide expertise and answer questions on issues that are important to your organization and its efforts to eliminate discrimination in employment and comply with federal contractor requirements. Some benefits of membership are:
- "Affirmatively Speaking" - A periodic newsletter covering local and national affirmative action program developments, EEO updates and IILG events.
- Access to a network of peer organizations that can provide valuable insight and experience as needed.
- Regular programs that address new and cutting edge Affirmative Action issues.
Annual membership dues are $20/individual or $90/corporate, and are used to pay speaker fees, site rental and food costs associated with meetings. Your membership ensures that you receive up-to-date information on the most current happenings with OFCCP and the constantly changing laws that impact the workplace.
